Our vision was to develop a clear, consistent and coherent identity for Kedah, differentiating it from the rest of the state, with the aim of shape the state as a sense of peaceful, calm and relaxing state with the main audiences for middle age who like to travel around and release stress.

Telang Kuih

Personal work, 2018

 “Telang” stands for Butterfly Pea Flower in Malay, while “ Kuih” stands for Nyonya traditional kuih. Besides that, we want to promote and let people all around the globe to know the authentic Nyonya cultutre and the health benefits of Buttetfly Pea Flower. Therefore, Butterfly Pea Flower (Bunga Telang) is chosen to symbol this brand. This brand also content a Chinese pattern, a Malay logo name with a tagline at the bottom, and a nostalgic font. It is mainly reflect the culture of Baba Nyonya which is a mixture of Malay and Chinese cultures with a dash of the English way of life.
